Administrative Support and Recruiting Specialist

Emma Barnhart has been with FDP since February 17, 2022, celebrating three years of growth and contribution to the team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, she plays a key role in recruiting and onboarding, providing HR support, and assisting Rachel in daily operations.

Emma was drawn to FDP by the opportunity to help and grow alongside a dynamic team. When she first started, FDP had four practices – now there are eight – and she’s been proud to be part of that journey. The experience has taught her so much already, and she looks forward to continuing to learn and grow with the organization.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Ohio, Emma earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, creative projects, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her friends and family.

Lisa N. DiSalle

Operations Officer/HR

I started at FDP on January 1, 2020 – so it’s been five years now! I support the development of HR policies and processes, operations support, payroll, benefits management, and the employment cycle. What I love most about working here is the people in the support center – working together as a team to pursue the provision of excellent dentistry that is better tomorrow than today. I also love the teams in the offices, who truly care about their co-workers, patients, and outcomes.

I grew up in a family of dentists, orthodontists, and crown and bridge makers, so dentistry and oral health have always been important to me.

I am old. I am cool.

I grew up in Toledo and, aside from my time away at Miami University and then Case Western Reserve University Law School, I’ve lived and raised my family here. I have three children, a dead dog, and an ex-husband – BUT I do have a cute boyfriend now. Family and connection with others are the most important things in my personal life. I like to travel and do yoga.

Rebecca King

Financial Officer

Rebecca King has been a vital part of FDP since October 2021, bringing over three years of expertise and leadership to her role as Financial Officer. She oversees the organization’s financial activities, including cash control, accounts payable processing, and managing vendor relationships.

Rebecca was drawn to FDP by the vision, culture, and family atmosphere, excited by the opportunity to help build something new and great from the ground up.

Originally from Southeast Michigan, she and her husband are proud parents to three beautiful little girls – plus a goldendoodle who rounds out their busy family life. A proud University of Michigan fan, Rebecca cheers loudly for the Wolverines – Go Blue!

In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, embracing the joy that a strong support system brings both inside and outside of work.

Megan Vonderwell

Lead Integrations Officer

Megan Vonderwell is the Lead Integrations Officer at FDP, where she oversees and project-manages integrations for newly acquired practices while serving as the internal team lead. With a passion for organization and collaboration, Megan ensures seamless transitions and effective team dynamics.

Joining FDP in 2024, Megan was drawn to the company’s family-oriented culture, strong ethics, and dedicated team. She appreciates the straightforward approach and genuine care FDP demonstrates for its employees, making it a refreshing and fulfilling workplace.

Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Megan earned her degree in Business Administration from The University of Toledo. She currently resides with her husband and two children, who bring her great joy. Outside of work, Megan is passionate about music, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. A fun fact about her: she once attended three separate concerts in a single day!

Rhonda LaVoy, EFDA

Clinical Operations Officer

Rhonda LaVoy has been part of the FDP family since 2010, bringing 15 years of experience and leadership to her role as Clinical Operations Officer. She oversees Clinical Standards of Care, Personnel Policies, and Clinical Training, while also managing key relationships with lab and supply vendors.

Rhonda is drawn to the positive environment at FDP and values the close-knit, family-like atmosphere that has supported her personal and professional growth. Originally from Blissfield, Michigan, she now lives in Deerfield with her three children – two daughters and a son.

Outside of work, Rhonda loves watching her kids play sports, traveling up north to the family cabin, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with her family. Whether it’s playing outside, gathering around a board game, or enjoying a family movie night, Rhonda cherishes making memories with her loved ones.

Rachel LaVoy, RDH, EFDA

Chief Operations Officer and Managing Member

Rachel LaVoy has been a dedicated part of the FDP team since 2009, bringing over 14 years of experience and leadership to her role as Chief Operations Officer and Managing Member. Her journey with FDP began when the company looked very different, yet its core spirit remains the same – something Rachel feels deeply connected to.

Originally from Blissfield, Michigan, Rachel has a passion for travel, hiking, and the satisfying art of compulsively organizing and cleaning her home. Whether leading operations or exploring new places, Rachel brings a sense of commitment, energy, and heart to everything she does – a quality that has helped shape FDP into the company it is today.
